I want to tell you that God lives in everyday life. I just come off of a very long training and I was doing some shopping for my family and I lost my phone. Some amazing person picked it up and brought it to customer service.. Unfortunately, I was already tired and frustrated and needed more than my mental state could provide for me. So I went to customer service got a line and there was one gentleman ahead of me. I asked him kindly if I could go first to just grab my phone and go. I have to tell you I was at my last Thread of patients. The gentleman thanked me for asking him and said he did mind. At that point, I did not know what to do and I had all sorts of not nice thoughts in my head. I bowed my head in. I thank God for the kindness of the guy And sent him a blessing, knowing that his things that he needed to get done might have a time constraint and we’re more important than my own. I prayed to God for patience. I prayed to God, reminding myself that I know that these are just earthly things. To be honest with you I think I forgot to thank him for not letting me lose my things .
All of this must seem crazy to your listeners! But I have to tell you, that when you feel like you’re out your last straw and you just can’t keep it together breathe deeply and pray. Just stop where you are and pray I’ll tell you what happened when that man went up to the desk. He asked the lady for my phone for me. Thank you, Lord Jesus for being my conscience for being my patience for just being there for me! In Jesus‘s name, I pray Amen.
