I am so grateful for WGTS and God's perfect timing. Yesterday, I received a surprise call from Stacy Stone to pray with me, just when I needed it most. I am currently caring for my 17-year-old, who is sick with COVID-19 as somebody critically high risk for severe COVID-19. We live in a house with just one bathroom, which adds to the challenge. Last summer, I was hospitalized for six days with severe COVID-19 and came close to losing my life, but by God's grace, I recovered. This week isn’t even my scheduled visitation time, but my ex, who is not at high risk for severe COVID-19, chose not to care for our sick teen during this time. Amazingly, I am still testing negative for COVID-19, even though my teen continues to test positive. We are social distancing, wearing masks, repeatedly disinfecting common surfaces, keeping the windows open even though it is hot, etc. I truly believe that Stacy's call and prayers was a blessing that will help strengthen my immunity. I pray this and other prayer support will keep me COVID-19 free in the days to come. Thank you, Stacy, and thank you, WGTS!
