A Full Plate by Grace”
—A Prayer of Thanks and Testimony—
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for revealing that I do not have to settle for part of a meal. I deserve to nourish my body, mind, and spirit with fullness and balance, for “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17). This truth has stirred me to share what I’ve learned about eating healthy, caring for the temple You’ve given me, and walking in stewardship—not out of vanity, but out of reverence.
I praise You for my family. We are not perfect, yet we are Yours. Even with our faults and growing edges, I do not walk in shame—because “Charity shall cover the multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8), and “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
To those who seek to shame me out of jealousy, I extend grace, knowing that “Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?” (Proverbs 27:4). Let their bitterness dissolve in the truth of Your love, and may I never return shame for shame—but answer with peace and kindness, as You have taught me.
Thank You for teaching me that provision may require labor and courage. “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury” (Proverbs 14:23). Sometimes the table must be set through tears, prayers, and perseverance. Yet even that is sacred, for “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” (Psalm 126:5).
Let Your will be done in me, and let every lesson I’ve lived be part of a testimony that feeds others, spirit and soul.
Amen.
