BIG PRAYER REQUEST #2

I’ve been posting prayers on here about a teen that I’m mentoring and his family. We thank you for your prayers. The teen has been living with his grandma and has made a complete transformation HOWEVER…

Mom went to grandmas home yesterday and snatched her son away with no reason at all. She sent him to live with grandma two weeks ago because she had enough of him. But yet mom came by unexpectedly and took her son back home – LITERALLY right after I had talked to grandma about how well he’s been doing and her wanting to take full custody of him to give him a better life and away from his abusive mother.

Grandma is now seeing that she needs to take full custody of her grandson because mom is doing nothing but abusing her son physically & verbally. Over the past two weeks he’s been at grandmas. Mom has pulled her son out of school to take him home and beat him and yell at him for no reason at all (he is her punching bag). She’s also told him to take the bus home from school last week so that he can clean the home, get yelled at, then sent back to grandmas.

It’s clear that mom does not want the best for her son and is just trying to make his life miserable as she just abuses him and put him through misery. Grandma eyes has opened to something she says she should have done years ago…

She has called for a welfare check on the home and has stated she is going to call CPS. I’ve talked to the teen since he’s been home and has stated that he’s been forced to clean the home and there is no food in the house.

Prayers that this is the final straw. That the lord mightily moves. That the police thats sent to do a welfare check, the CPS employees who will do an investigation have supernatural discernment to see all that mom is trying to kept hidden (mostly important let’s pray that they’re believers!)

Pray that the teen has the courage AND boldness to SPEAK when asked about his home environment. Pray that grandma’s is emboldened by the Spirit to move in a way that will change her grandsons life for the better. Prayer that the teen is extracted from the home as soon as possible. Pray against the evil spirts at work and that the Lord will protect, prevail and show his face.

It by the grace of God that we’ve gotten to the point, even if it isn’t thee way I expected any of this to happen.
