God✝️ in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name,
as you sanctify ⚖️

Influence us to Love✝️
Like You✝️
As You✝️ bring us back
to 1 Corinthians 13.

Again.

And again.

And again.

and then

Remind us in scripture
With each step how much
Your✝️ Love remains patient.
Not because waiting is easy.
But because eternity
is never in a hurry.
So when I say something
I’m not just saying it to be clever!
God✝️ as You✝️ and I know
We on this earth
We can’t rush forever
This is patience
as a kind statement
Only to be given

Under

This thorough understanding
Because this environment
We’re in is demanding
in its own Right
So I have to be

Love✝️ that’s kind
Cautious
Considerate

Parenthetical pause:
(God✝️ this is not my home)
(God✝️ this is not my house)
(On this day I’m NOT a spouse)
(I’m a man of God✝️ navigating
His✝️ way towards a peaceful life)
(Avoiding strife as a I’ve been taught)
(While eliminating the need to disrupt worship
Or leave a family feeling disturbed
Or ⚖️ distraught)
(Before this takes place [again]
let me leave first)

Otherwise Lord✝️
Let me lead first
With this verse
As we hear my heart
In the context of
Christ✝️-centered behavior
As I bear all things,
Yet as we Hope all things
And believe all things
Work together to your good
Because your Will✝️ is good

And as your mercy visited me first.
I pray I can work this same verse
Among someone ⚖️ else’s life
As an added blessing given
Through the reading of this word
Not because of excess.
But because Christ
held nothing back.

May 👍🏾we⚖️ hear and receive
As You✝️ receive this prayer
In Jesus Christ✝️ name I pray
and give thanks.
