Dear WGTS Family,

Please pray for my coworker, Anita G. Anita has two herniated discs, C5 & C6, and needs multi-level spinal fusion surgery via her neck. She has an appointment with the neurosurgeon on June 17th to discuss next steps and possible surgery planning. Please pray that the consultation goes well and that the neurosurgeon is knowledgeable and wise in his or her recommendations. If surgery is the best course of action, please pray for it to be scheduled as soon as possible so that Anita is delivered from the pain she is enduring. Pray for the surgeon to be extraordinarily competent during the surgical procedure and for his or her hands to be guided by God. Please pray that the surgery is a success and that it results in the cessation of painful nerve pressure and tingling; the elimination of pinched nerves, numbness, and weakness; Anita's overall range of motion in her neck not being reduced; and this being the last back surgery she needs. Please pray for rapid healing and for her pain to be managed well. Emotionally, Anita needs comfort – please pray for optimism and an uplifted spirit with God receiving all the recognition and the glory along the way in Jesus' Name, thank you and Amen.
