✝️ 🕊️An Excellent Intent🕊️ ✝️
Part 1
(1 Peter 2:9-12 • Ephesians 5 • Psalm 8 • Acts 2:42-47)
Supplemental to: “Hearing My Heart”
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
Tonight I return
the thoughts and intents
Of my heart to You✝️
with a thought that’s been growing
and now showing slowly
Yet surely what your will is
Something that involves 👍🏾 me
though not about 🕊️ me.
what 👍🏾we🕊️have
next for our church.
Like,
What comes after us?
Because Father,
the more I listen,
the more I learn,
the more I see—
that excellence is not an accident.
It is intent
From a purposeful
Objective set by 45 years worth
Of lost souls found
By your ultimate
search and rescue Doctor
“Jesus Christ” the same one
Of our yesterday
Our today
And tomorrow
Unto stewardship.
and preparation.
A contemporary testament
Of what happens when purpose
meets responsibility.
So Lord✝️, as I pray for 🕊️ tonight,
I pray she 🕊️ hears my heart again.
Not for something wrong with me,
But as something right for our church.
A next generation who cannot be ignored
Like a voice that cries in the wilderness
Of what was
What is
and prayerfully
by this excellent intent
what is to come
So Lord out of admiration
Of 🕊️ one
With a willingness to carry responsibility
Especially pertaining to me
I pray over this good work
submitted earlier tonight
For review by one who
I’m seeking the authority of
For a next generation’s work
Unto ministry that heals
As much as it deals with the issues
We ⛪️ have
or have begun to see
Yet it’s this prayers intent
That my work heard from my heart
be covered in Your✝️ excellence
7 time 70 fold
For ⛪️ Our church
To help.
To organize.
To lead.
And the more I see that,
the more I realize
that leadership isn’t simply about today—
it’s about tomorrow too.
About what we leave behind.
So Father,
place before 👍🏾us🕊️
an excellent intent.
An intent that thinks beyond events.
Beyond programs.
Beyond moments.
An intent that prepares people.
Because Your Word says
we are a chosen generation.
Not one that’s distracted.
Or forgotten,
but chosen.
To think like 81’s.
Who prepare like Joshua
Knowing Moses is dead.
Yet builds like Nehemiah
In His ✝️ Name
Yeah!
Because as part of the thought to
Pray on for this week
In particular Lord is,
what if the church’s
Dreams and visions
didn’t simply just celebrate graduates
But also launched them?
As we equip our young adults
coming home from college
For life everlasting
through mentorship?
Like,
what if the tradesman
found opportunity?
Or if the veteran
found connection
with society through church
Post-wartime?
If the entrepreneur
found encouragement
From a church raffle
Or golf tournament?
If excellence⛪️
became part of 👍🏾our🕊️fellowship
Unto ministry?
A solid motto Lord,
I’m reminded of
as I pray this church
One that permeates
From inside my heart
Until known and read
Of ⛪️us🕊️
(to be continued)
In Jesus Christ✝️ name I pray and give thanks.
Amen.🙏🏾🕊️😴💤🌙
