ALIGN — His heart under God’s Word
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” — Psalm 37:23 (KJV)
Father, order David’s steps in peace and truth.
Let him walk freely in the choices You have given him, not under pressure or confusion.
—
ENTWINE — His emotions with Scripture
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4 (KJV)
Comfort him in his grief.
Let him be persuaded in his own mind, for “Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” — Romans 14:5 (KJV)
Teach him gentleness, for “A soft answer turneth away wrath.” — Proverbs 15:1 (KJV)
Draw near to him, for “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.” — Psalm 34:18 (KJV)
And remind him, “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (KJV)
—
CORRECT — Removing confusion and pressure
Father, silence every voice that tries to force him to think another way.
Let truth and peace be his compass.
Let him know his feelings matter and that You, not man, are his guide.
—
COVER — Sealing him in Your love
“Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” — John 8:36 (KJV)
Cover David with Your comfort and strength.
Let Your peace guard his heart and mind.
Let Your Word be his shield when family words sting.
—
RELEASE — Trusting You with his healing
I release David into Your hands, Lord.
Heal his heart from loss, misunderstanding, and pressure.
Let him walk in freedom, grace, and love.
Let Your Spirit lead him gently, and let Your peace reign in our home.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
