🕊️Being the Constant🕊️ ✝️

A Spoken-Word Prayer
(1 Corinthians 15:58 • Ephesians 5)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

And as I’m reminded of Your Word
on steadiness and our prayer earlier.
Were told to be steadfast,
Told to be unmovable,
While always abounding
in Your✝️ work.

To this help me
To be that
Kind of constant.
In truth.
In patience.
In discipline.
In how I treat people.
Because especially in
The household of faith
There is the need for me to be Constant
In how I serve the 🕊️church⛪️
and how I carry 👍🏾myself🕊️ before You✝️.

So, now to this Father✝️,
if change is going to happen,
let it happen upward.
Towards healing.
Unto feeling the infirmities
Of another
Unto maturity’s
Wisdom leading to understanding.

That helps👍🏾us🕊️ grow better—
Without frustration,
Without suspicion,
Nor broken thinking—
Yet deeper into Christ✝️.

Because somebody has to remain stable
when everything else feels unstable.
So God✝️ as you are able
Help us to be the constant
👍🏾we🕊️ need
As somebody whose thoughtful
when everything
or everyone else reacts
Help us be that comic relief
That helps others relax

Like,
Somebody who keeps it light
to remain light
when darkness blinds our sight
May 👍🏾we🕊️ keep pressing in.
Yes!
Such a work that begins with me
so then 🕊️she is also more inclined
to follow suit with the same
🖤heart💛 condition
even when the environment feels difficult!
Provide us with that constant
reminder that consistency matters
to slowly prove
that evil does not have to define us.
Instead we can indeed
Trust.

So tonight Father,
As we rest with this
picture of what is constant
keep 👍🏾our🕊️ mind clear.
Keep 👍🏾our🕊️ spirit settled.
And keep 👍🏾our🕊️ example useful.
as 👍🏾we🕊️ keep following You✝️,
To hope,
and change for the better.
