🕊️ The Light Between Us ✝️
A Spoken-Word Prayer
(John 17 • Ephesians 5 • 2 Peter 1:11–13 • Acts 2:42–47)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
Lord, tonight I come before You
with a simple request
for oneness
in mind.
To the end that the words
Of our mouth
Shows as the meditation
Of our heart in moment.
In memory.
In movement.
In the way we live before You✝️.
With you in 👍🏾us🕊️
and 👍🏾us🕊️ in You✝️
So if oneness is the prayer,
then let our lives
be the answer.
To this Father✝️,
help 👍🏾us🕊️
make good memories—
That are absent
Of something superficial,
but what will reflect alignment.
Real…
Clean…
light-filled moments
that reflect
that Christ✝️ is among us.
Because if we are to be one,
then we must remember right.
Your Word says
to be stirred up
by way of remembrance.
So stir us, Lord—
not toward division,
but toward unity.
Help us remember grace.
Remember patience.
Remember growth.
Remember fellowship
that looked like You✝️.
Because oneness is not built
on what went wrong—
it is built
on what You✝️ made right.
And Ephesians teaches 👍🏾us🕊️
to walk in love,
to walk in light,
to walk wisely—
so let even our memories
walk that way too.
Because the adversary
fights unity through memory.
Old wounds.
Old thoughts.
Old versions of people
that no longer exist.
But You✝️—
You make all things new.
So teach 👍🏾us🕊️
how to overcome evil with good,
how to answer darkness with light,
how to let goodness
rewrite the way we remember one another.
Because if we remember well,
we can love as one.
If we love as one,
we can walk as one.
If we walk as one,
we become the answer
to Your Son’s prayer.
In Jesus Christ, name will pray to good thanks. Amen
