Pray for John

Father God, in the name of Jesus,
You see my heart and You hear every word before I speak it (Psalm 139:4).
Lord, I ask You to soften and open my husband’s ears and heart,
“Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger” (James 1:19).
Holy Spirit, gently convict him where he needs correction,
not with shame, but with truth and love—
“Those whom the Lord loves He corrects” (Proverbs 3:12).
Show him, Lord, where I have felt unheard and hurt.
Bring light to what was missed,
“For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed” (Luke 8:17).
God, teach him to love me with care and understanding in this season,
“Husbands, love your wives… and do not be harsh with them” (Colossians 3:19).
Father, I ask that You help him step into the role I need right now,
to support, to listen, and to care—
“Carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2).
And Lord, while You work on his heart,
guard mine with Your peace,
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts” (Colossians 3:15).
My healing matters to You, God—
“You are the Lord who heals me” (Exodus 15:26).
Jesus, be Lord over this situation and over his behavior.
Bring alignment, humility, and love into our home.
