✝️ 🕊️Resting in the Goodness of God🕊️✝️
A Good Night Prayer
(Psalm 119:33–40 • 2 Timothy 2:15 • Proverbs 3:24)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
Lord, thank You for this day.
Not just for what was done,
but for what was learned.
Not just for what was seen,
but for what You revealed in between.
Because this was Your day—
and by Your grace,
it was a good day’s work.
So tonight, Father,
as 👍🏾we🕊️ wind down,
teach 👍🏾us🕊️ how to reflect right.
Not with pressure.
Not with regret.
Not with replaying every step
until peace is lost.
But with purpose.
With peace.
With a heart that reviews the day
in the light of Your Word✝️.
“Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes…”
So I can see where You led.
Where You corrected.
Where You covered.
Where You gave wisdom
when I didn’t even know I needed it.
“Give me understanding…”
So reflection becomes growth.
So the day doesn’t just pass—
it builds.
“Make me to go in the path of Your commandments…”
So what I did today
was not wasted motion,
but ordered steps
in devotion.
Lord, incline my heart
toward truth tonight—
not distraction,
not comparison,
not anything that steals the light.
Because Your Word says
to study,
to show myself approved—
not for show,
but to be rightly divided,
rightly guided,
and rightly moved.
So tonight, Father,
let reflection become communion.
Me and You✝️—
reviewing the day together.
Seeing the good.
Learning from the pressure.
Letting Your goodness
speak louder than the rest.
Because this is how we grow.
This is how we stay steady.
This is how we prepare
for what’s next already.
And as the day closes, Lord,
thank You for peace.
Your Word says
when we lie down,
we shall not be afraid.
When we sleep,
our rest shall be sweet.
So let it be sweet tonight.
Sweet in mind.
Sweet in spirit.
Sweet in knowing
You✝️ were present through it all.
Let every burden settle.
Let every thought find order.
Let every lesson take root.
Let every good thing remain.
And as 👍🏾we🕊️ rest,
let Your Word continue to work—
quietly,
deeply,
faithfully—
preparing 👍🏾us🕊️
for another day
that You will make
and we will walk in.
So thank You, Father,
for this day’s work,
this night’s rest,
and Your goodness
that never leaves.
And may this especially
be sold for🕊️
In Jesus Christ✝️ name I pray and give thanks. Amen. 🕊️🌙😴💤
