✝️ Power and Peace
A Spoken-Word Prayer
(Acts 5:33–39 • Ephesians 5 • 2 Timothy 3:16–17 • Romans 8:5–6 • 1 Corinthians 12:1–11)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
Lord, tonight I thank You
for power
that does not panic,
and peace
that does not pretend.
And Acts 5,
when men
were ready to strike,
Gamaliel told the truth and said:
if this is of men,
it will fall.
But if it is of God✝️,
it cannot be overthrown.
So it’s my pray Lord
That as Your✝️ Son
sits on the throne
We can be ever reminded
Of this truth
As it settles deep in 👍🏾us🕊️
This day.
That what You have kept,
man could not cancel.
What You have guarded,
pressure could not bury.
What You have spoken,
time could not silence.
And what has kept 👍🏾us🕊️ as a ⛪️ church
has not been personality alone,
or routine alone,
or effort alone—
it has been Your✝️ Word
lived out among us.
Your Word believed.
Your Word taught.
Your Word corrected.
Your Word practiced.
Your Word walking in the room
Accompanied by The Holy 🕊️ Spirit
through how we speak,
the lost we seek
To save through
how we serve,
In season
And out of season
how we endure,
a clean law
That is sure among
A world that’s not sure
Jesus Christ✝️ our Lord
Lives!
and God✝️ it’s 👍🏾our🕊️
Endeavor to show this
In how we stand!
So since all Scripture
is given by Your✝️ inspiration,
I pray that you help us see the profit of
our Doctrine of Righteousness✝️
that equipped us
with the guidance
we need to be
Thoroughly furnished
unto all good works.
without fear of circumstance.
So as 👍🏾we🕊️ walk
remind us of our wisdom;
remind us of our light
to properly position us in your Will✝️
as we rest in your promised
of your power and peace
In Jesus Christ✝️ name I pray and give thanks. Amen. 🕊️💤😴🌙
