✝️🕊️The Best Thing🕊️✝️

A Spoken-Word Prayer Supplemental to:
Guidance, Beside You, and Good Memories,
(Ephesians 5)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

Thanking You
for showing 👍🏾us🕊️
that sometimes the best thing
doesn’t arrive loud.

Oftentimes it arrives through guidance.
Through steady fellowship.
Through learning how to stand beside one another
the right way,
in the pure way,
in an unconditional way,
in either respective capacity
You have ordained for the moment.

And from there, Lord—
good memories begin.
Not shallow ones.
Those of a willing mind.
The kind built with peace.
The kind built in wisdom.
The kind built when Your✝️ people
walk in light together,
as we endeavor to learn
one another.

So thank You, Father,
For our doctrine and theology
Your guidance in it is not small.
It’s strong among us!
God✝️ as I think of
Standing beside one another
I pray that it reminds us that
Solidarity of what is strong is not small thing.
Yet it’s the best thing about us.
Making good memories then becomes the fruit of
Our work to be partaken of
by those that are with us
In spirit and truth

Because when the best things are governed by You✝️,
they become evidence.
Evidence that Jesus Christ✝️
still lives and shares among us.
Still moves among us.
Still demonstrates God✝️’s Love
in ways that can be felt,
seen,
remembered,
and lived.

And that, Lord✝️,
is the best thing.
No mere moment.
No mere feeling,
but Your✝️ Love demonstrated
through the way we walk,
the way we honor,
the way we stay,
the way we serve,
and the way we make room
for one another in truth.

So for myself, Father,
let this remain clear:
the best thing I can do is obey.
and it’s my prayer that we are
Eternally blessed as I Obey
When it is simple.
When it is stretching.
When guidance comes quietly.
When fellowship requires patience.
When the renewed version of me
must leave the older behind.

Because obedience helps me make good memories.
Obedience helps me walk beside people rightly.
Obedience helps me receive guidance without fighting it.
Coupled with wisdom, it helps me work
consistently without siding
Because unconditional Love,
As you’ve caused me to see
Causes me to find ways to agree
so my conversations are become
More of You✝️ and less of me
So my esteem of others remain.

Ego dies
Comparison fades.
But our usefulness.
Is turned to faithfulness.
By character.
the witness of Christ✝️
Is made tangible in our life.

So let this renewed version of me
Help each other serve well.
Love well.
Remember well.
Lead well.
Follow well.
To the world can tell that Truly
Jesus Christ✝️ is Lord
Just by our standing beside others
without losing sight of You✝️.

And for 👍🏾us🕊️, Lord,
let the best thing shared among us
always be Jesus Christ✝️.
Seen in us as through
Your✝️ peace.
Your✝️ light.
Your✝️ order.
Our patience.
Our kindness.
And your way this
Christian Walk
Should be seen
A pleasing way
of Glorifying God✝️.
An example of what
right looks like in Christianity!
Like surely
2Timothy 3:16
IS
Livable!

So Lord Jesus,
since You✝️ are the best thing,
then let what grows among us
Never be wasted.
Let it be holy.
Helpful.
Healing,
and wholesomely received
to leave behind
the kind of memory
the adversary cannot easily poison.

So thank You, Father,
for guidance.
Thank You for fellowship.
Thank You for good memories.
Thank You for what You are renewing.
And thank You
doing the best ✝️ thing for ⛪️us🕊️
on this day
as you working in 👍🏾us🕊️
and through us
Unto success ⛪️ generationally is pursued and further realized.
