✝️🕊️Good Memories🕊️✝️
(2 Peter 1:11–13 • Ephesians 5 • Acts 2:42–47)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
I bring before You✝️ tonight
a simple yet holy endeavor:
help ⛪️us🕊️
make good memories.
That are real.
Intentional.
Clean,
Christ-centered ones
that help the heart remember
that You✝️ have been good among us.
Your ✝️ Word says
it is right to stir us up
by way of remembrance.
So since remembrance matters,
help us remember
What is right.
God✝️ this is Your good work
One that requires good memories
Of who we are
And we believe is good.
Like, grace.
Patience and it’s perfect work.
Like growth.
As remembrance this night
Towards a greater ⛪️ fellowship
One that looked like You✝️,
Or the agreement of 👍🏾two🕊️
The same as yesterday in Pentecost
Today in Maryland,
and tomorrow throughout Life
Unto Good Memories like
😏finishing a sentence
before 👍🏾she🕊️ can think twice.
Like that, I know you speech
Or a prayer or someone that preached
to reminds me of my trust in You✝️
And you🕊️
It’s the only Way ✝️ this works.
Jesus Christ✝️, His Ministry,
His death and resurrection
His Sacrifice to us.
Father✝️, I’m listening in The 🕊️ Spirit to
Your✝️ Ephesians who
taught 👍🏾us🕊️through
an apostolic letter to walk wisely,
in God✝️’s Love,
as children of light,
Through memories
That see neither black nor white
Just Your ✝️ Face
as it was in 2Cor 4
In my own words Glorious😎
It reminds me of more good memories
A gorgeously understood view
Of what it means to Live
In such a world
Because the adversary loves dark reflections.
Old wounds.
Tension.
Old interpretations.
Meaningless instigations
Of old versions of people
Without principles
who are no longer standing where they once stood.
Yet they stand in your presents
By your ✝️Spirit🕊️
As You✝️ teach us
how to overcome evil with good.
How to answer darkness with light.
To answer heaviness with holy 🕊️ gladness.
How to properly answer the past
with a present and a future
that are more hopeful 🕊️ in You✝️.
Like, Because He✝️ Lives 🎶
good memories become part of our warfare
To face tomorrow
Erase fear
And remind ⛪️us🕊️
That Life is worth living
Just because
Laughter as one church is possible.
This is Life!
This is Love✝️!
God✝️’s Love!
That kind of shared goodness
that weakens the enemy’s grip
on how we think of one another,
because as we remember well,
we love better
to walk closer,
To then move forward as one church.
And that matters, Lord✝️.
You✝️ showed 👍🏾us🕊️Acts
of people continuing steadfastly
in doctrine,
in fellowship,
in breaking of bread,
and in prayers—
with gladness
and singleness of heart.
So Lord Jesus✝️ let this night
be the start of what you finish
By Your ✝️ Spirit 🕊️
living in us and among us.
Meals that mean something.
Conversations that heal something.
Moments that settle something.
Laughter that loosens something.
Peace that restores something.
A church with a more perfect union.
And yes, Father✝️
tonight this joint endeavor
to make good memories
may have started with one person.
As I do my part,
I pray others do the same.
For the church.
For the fellowship.
For the future.
But for 👍🏾us🕊️ even more, Lord,
let this be understood gently:
that making good memories
is not small.
It is ministry.
It is mercy.
It is one way
You teach the heart
not to live trapped in what once hurt it.
So let 🕊️ hear my heart in this prayer.
And let ⛪️ hear it too.
That I want us to move forward lighter.
Wiser.
Kinder.
More present.
More thankful.
Less chained to what was,
and more open to what You✝️ are doing now.
Let good memories become good ground.
A place where trust can grow.
A place where fellowship can breathe.
A place where the devil loses ground
because goodness kept showing up
and did not stop.
So as we go,
wherever we go,
help 👍🏾us🕊️ make memories
that honor You✝️,
help one another,
and remind us
that the best is not behind us.
It is still being built.
In Jesus Christ✝️ name I pray and give thanks. Amen. 🕊️
