✝️ 🕊️Giving and Receiving (Our Ministry) 🕊️✝️
(Ephesians 5 as foundation)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

For 👍🏾us🕊️ and our understanding
Of the ministry of giving and receiving.

Not just giving what is easy.
Not just receiving what is convenient.
But learning how to walk in the kind of fellowship
that reflects You✝️.

Your✝️ Word in Ephesians 5
teaches us to walk in God✝️’s Love,
as your children of light,
who walk wisely,
and submit one to another
in the fear of God✝️,
Yet even the more
We are reminded daily
We are Your light
To guve and receive of one another
Brother to sister
Sister to brother
This is who we are
So let this be our understanding, Lord:
that in Christian fellowship,
what is given in truth
should also be received in grace,
offered in sincerity,
And not fall to the ground unnoticed.

This is to be our desire
of what is to be spoken in light
blessings shared in reverence
That strengthen the heart!
Makes us smart
Enough know
that we reap what we sow,
In faith!

So Father, if she can receive the comfort,
the care,
the warmth,
and even the holy delight
that comes through these prayers
as You use me to carry them,
then place it in her heart to understand
that what is being given in this way
is not empty.

It is meant to edify,
to encourage,
and meant to bless.
As you will
Knowing what is received in You✝️
will not return void,
Because You’re✝️ Sowing
You’re Showing
That God✝️’s Best expressed
according to Scripture
Leaves a good work
With a beneficial effect
A smile, a laugh,
A praise ultimately
But maybe even a blush
Since you know it’s all respect!

Respect for what your Son did on Calvary
What David pin
What Solomon wrote
And what 👍🏾we🕊️see
the Shulamite woman
Received
As guide and blueprint
If what we are to know about Your✝️ Love
We are only vessels for it
meant to share it among 👍🏾us🕊️
Yet platonically
Without carnality
Nor with any lust!

So, Let her know the potential of
what can touch her heart
through this fellowship
can also become something she receives
as and essential part of
Your✝️ goodness—
absent manipulation,
pressures,
but a just and fitting blessing
from Your hand
Make specific for this “situation”.

Because God✝️,
Your Love does not merely speak.
It gives.
And when it gives rightly,
it also makes room
for righteous receiving.

As You✝️ Teach
Remind👍🏾us🕊️ that giving and receiving
platonically
Is clean,
It remains wise,
must stay governed
Under the authority of Your 🕊️ Spirit.

So let what I give
be something worth waiting for.
Let what she receives
be wholesome.
Let what You are doing between us
remain honorable and peaceful.

And if there is any sweetness in these prayers,
let it be because Your truth is in them.
If there is any encouragement in them,
let it be because Your Spirit carried it.
If there is any blessing received through them,
let it be because You ordained
that what is given in light
should bear fruit in peace.

Teach us both, Father,
that the ministry of giving and receiving
is not about taking from one another,
but about supplying what is fitting
in Your will.

It fits the bill for fellowship
That remains wise.
So let our witness ever
remain 🕊️ holy.
Let our exchange remain blessed.
And let all of it point back to You.
As we receive sweet sleep this night
Throughout this good night’s rest.
