🎶🕊️✝️ Singin' ✝️🕊️🎶
(Psalm 95:1–6 • Proverbs 3:24)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
tonight among us.
I come before You✝️ singin’.
Not because everything is easy,
but because Your name is worthy.
Not because every question is answered,
but because comfort still lives
in the music provided to
bless Your Holy name.
Your Word tells us,
“O come, let us sing unto the Lord:
let us make a joyful noise
to the rock of our salvation.”
So this prayer comes with music in it, Lord.
It's not just 🕊notes,
Its our knowing.
That melody carries mercy.
Sound that gives us ✝️Scripture
As refreshing as the breath of the Holy Spirit over us!
Because gospel music has meant more to me
than background noise.
It is truth carried on a tune.
It's doctrine made alive in us.
It's comfort when needed that reaches
to the highest mountain
that reaches to the lowest valley
places conversation sometimes can't go.
It's the resolution to disputes in our heart.
So help 🕊️ understand my intent in it.
Help her understand my approach toward music
that it's scriptural first.
So when I think of a song,
I’m not thinking of escape only—
I’m thinking of exaltation.
I'm thinking exhortation.
I'm thinking conversation with a different flavor.
Salt in spirit, yet sweet at heart.
(Smart right? Nah! Spiritual First!)
I’m thinking of what keeps the heart aligned correctly.
I’m thinking of what helps us bless ✝️You🕊
and stay steady while doing it.
Let her see that what she should expect from me
is a sound that points back to You.
A tone that values reverence.
A heart that wants music to heal,
to witness,
to teach,
to strengthen,
and to make room for peace.
Because when we sing unto You,
something settles.
Something softens.
Something in us remembers
who You are.
You are the great God.
The great King above all gods.
In Your hand are the deep places of the earth.
The sea is Yours.
The dry land too.
So we bow.
We worship.
We kneel before the Lord our Maker.
And Father, let this prayer itself
become a small song for her heart—
gentle,
clear,
warm with truth.
A reminder that worship can still comfort,
that holiness can still sing,
and that reverence still carries rest.
So tonight, let there be music in the quiet.
Let there be peace in the remembering.
Let there be sweetness in the sound of Your name.
And as she lies down,
Your Word says
she shall not be afraid;
yea, she shall lie down,
and her sleep shall be sweet.
So let it be sweet tonight, Father.
Like a hymn that lingers.
Like a chorus that stays.
Like truth sung low enough
for the soul to rest in it.
In Jesus Christ✝️ name I pray and give thanks. Amen. 🕊️🌙
