A Blessing of Gratitude for Deeper Prayer
(Aligned and entwined with King James Scripture)

Today I want to speak a blessing of gratitude over a woman who helped change the way I pray.

A few years ago, Joann gently made me aware that the way I was praying needed to go deeper — that the simple words I was offering were sincere, but God was calling me into something richer.
And I thank God for her honesty.

The Word says, “Deep calleth unto deep” (Psalm 42:7), and that is exactly what the Lord began to do in me.
Instead of praying only what was on my heart, I learned to take that prayer and align it with Scripture, to look up the meaning of every word — the old meaning and the new — so that my prayers were not only sincere, but rooted, grounded, and established in truth.

The Bible says, “In all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).
So now I pray with understanding.
I pray with Scripture.
I pray with intention.
I pray with alignment.

And through Joann — a Catholic sister in Christ — and another Catholic friend, I even learned how the saints of Scripture can be honored as witnesses of faith, just as Hebrews says:
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses…” (Hebrews 12:1).

Their example strengthened my walk, not by replacing Christ, but by reminding me that others have run this race before me.

So today I bless Joann for speaking truth in love.
I bless her for sharpening me, just as the Word says, “Iron sharpeneth iron” (Proverbs 27:17).
I bless her for helping me step into a deeper, richer, Scripture‑entwined prayer life.

And I bless the Lord for leading me to include Scripture with my products — that every item I create carries encouragement, carries truth, and carries His Word into the hands and homes of others.

May the Lord reward those who sowed into my spiritual growth.
May He multiply the fruit.
May every prayer I pray be aligned with His heart, entwined with His Word, and rooted in understanding.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
