Prayer Path for Children: Honoring God’s Word (KJV)
Acknowledge
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and watching over me. You are good, You are holy, and Your Word is true. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
Align
Help my heart to follow Your ways, Lord. Teach me to listen to Your Word and to walk in what is right. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11)
Let me grow in wisdom like the Proverbs say, learning to speak kindly and to do what pleases You.
Ask
Please help me to honor You when I pray, when I talk, when I play, and when I make choices. Help me to obey my parents, to be gentle with others, and to use my words in a good way.
Let the boys learn to show respect when they pray, and let the girls learn to walk in kindness and wisdom, like it says, “She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” (Proverbs 31:26)
Keep my heart clean, my mind peaceful, and my steps steady.
Anchor (Scripture)
– “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.” — Ephesians 6:1
– “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105

Amen
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
