A PRAYER FOR MY HUSBAND — PRAYER PATH STYLE (KJV)
Father, I come before Thee this morning with a quiet and honest heart.
Thou seest my husband not feeling well, weary in his body, and pressed in his mind. I bring him to Thee first, because Thy Word declares, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee.”
Psalm 55:22 (KJV)
—
1. ACKNOWLEDGE THE MOMENT
Lord, this morning feels heavy for him. His body is tired, his mind is stretched, and the weight of work, schooling, and decisions sits on him.
But Thou art the God who strengthens the weak and lifts up the bowed down.
—
2. RELEASE THE BURDEN
Father, I release every worry about his job, the test, the expectations, and the decisions he must make.
Thy Word says, “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
Psalm 37:5 (KJV)
We place it all in Thy hands.
—
3. REQUEST GOD’S HELP
Strengthen his body.
Settle his mind.
Give him clarity where confusion tries to rise.
Give him peace where pressure tries to overwhelm.
Give him courage where fear whispers.
For it is written, “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
Guide him concerning this job situation.
If this door is from Thee, open it plainly.
If it is not, close it gently.
Let him feel Thy leading without fear.
—
4. ALIGN WITH GOD’S WORD
Lord, let Thy Word anchor him today:
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
Exodus 14:14 (KJV)
Fight for him in places he cannot fight for himself.
Go before him in every conversation, every requirement, every decision.
—
5. COVER THE FAMILY
Father, cover our home, our finances, our peace, and our unity.
Let no stress divide us.
Let no pressure shake us.
Let Thy hand rest upon our household, for Thy Word declares,
“Thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
Psalm 5:12 (KJV)
—
6. THANK GOD IN ADVANCE
Thank You for strengthening him.
Thank You for guiding him.
Thank You for covering our family.
Thank You for making the path straight before us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
