1. Acknowledge God
O Lord, Thou art the Governor among the nations.
Thy eyes behold, Thy eyelids try the children of men.
Nothing is hidden from Thee, and nothing moves without Thy knowing.
Thou art our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2. Confess / Release
Father, we bring before Thee the unrest, the fear, and the violence rising in Mexico.
We release every anxious thought,
every troubling report,
every image that stirs the heart.
For Thy Word saith,
“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.”

3. Receive Truth
We receive Thy truth that Thou art still in command.
We receive Thy promise that
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble.”
Let Thy peace settle over every region touched by turmoil.
Let Thy wisdom guide leaders, families, and travelers.
Let Thy hand restrain evil and uphold the innocent.

4. Declare
We declare that the Lord is a shield about His people.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
We declare that confusion is scattered,
violence is halted,
and every plan of darkness is brought to nothing.
We declare safety over those sheltering in place,
clarity for those making decisions,
and divine covering over every border, city, and household.
For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

5. Intercede
Lord, stretch forth Thy hand over Mexico.
Strengthen the weary, protect the vulnerable,
and give courage to those who stand for peace.
Let righteousness rise like the dawn,
and let Thy mercy be seen in the midst of trouble.
Remember the families, the travelers, the workers,
and all who are caught in the midst of unrest.
Let Thy angels encamp round about them that fear Thee.

6. Seal
We seal this prayer in the name of Jesus,
trusting in Thy Word,
resting in Thy promises,
and standing in Thy peace.
Keep our hearts stayed on Thee,
for Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on Thee.
