A young man whose life I stepped into as a father-figure was recently arrested and will be incarcerated for a very long-time. I lived out Isaiah 1:17 in his life for a few years. His mother kicked me out of his life about 10 months ago because I was “treating him to well”. I would love the opportunity to speak to him and be part of his story. Someone stable, safe, loving and guiding at a time he needs it most. But all in God’s will if he allows it.
I’m beyond devastated and heartbroken from both the instant separation a few months ago and now the incarnation.
Asking for prayer for him, the situation and myself. People keep asking if I want to speak to him. But I’m not willing to overstep a boundary that was set if though I yearn to hear from him.
