🌿 A Prayer for Healing, Discernment, and a Church That Honors Family

O Lord my God,
Thou who knowest the deep places of my heart,
Thou hast seen the wounds I carry
and the care with which I guard my spirit.
I thank Thee that even in my hesitation,
Thou hast not left me nor forsaken me.

Strengthen me, Father,
for I desire to walk in truth and not in fear.
Teach me that forgiveness does not bind me to return unto harm,
and that remembering is not sin,
but wisdom learned through sorrow.

Let Thy peace rest upon me like the morning dew.
Let Thy voice be the one I follow,
whether in a sanctuary built with hands
or in the quiet sanctuary of my home.

I pray for those who wounded me —
not in bitterness, but in release.
Heal them, Lord, and heal me.
Let no root of bitterness spring up,
but let discernment remain as a guard upon my steps.

Guide my husband and me in unity,
for Thou hast joined us together.
Let no voice divide what Thou hast made one.
Let our home be a place where Thy presence dwelleth richly,
where prayer rises freely,
and where love is the banner over all.

And if ever Thou leadest me again to a church home,
let it be a place that walketh in love,
a place that buildeth up and not teareth down,
a place that seeketh not to divide my family,
but to strengthen the bonds Thou hast ordained.
Let it be a house of peace,
a refuge of truth,
and a fellowship that honors the unity of our covenant.

Until then,
I walk with Thee daily —
in prayer, in Scripture, in quiet devotion.
Thou art my Shepherd,
and where Thou leadest, I will follow.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
