Father in Heaven…
Tonight we come to You together—
two of Your children,
two siblings in Christ,
two souls learning the rhythm
of life as we walk with You✝️
day bye day
and resting in You night bye night.

Nevertheless Lord✝️
As time passes daily
we thank You for the words of Jesus✝️ in John 14,
where He promised us
“another Comforter,”
the Holy Spirit—
One who would stay with us,
teach us,
guide us,
and remind us that we never walk alone
because We have the Holy Spirit
dwelling with 👍🏾us🕊️

So tonight, Father,
we speak to You as Your children…
and we speak on behalf of each other.
Sister 🕊️and brother 👍🏾

🕊️ “Lord, keep her tonight…”

Lord, as she lays down,
wrap her in Your✝️ comfort
As promise of Your presents🎁
Your✝️ comfort
I know what I’m sayin’
It’s not of the world,
not comfort of emotion,
but the Comforter Himself:
Your Holy Spirit.

So as the ✝️ beginning of sweet sleep
Let Him teach her peace,
remind her of truth,
and settle her mind
with the assurance—
“Let not your heart be troubled…”

Be her calm,
her clarity,
her quiet confidence.

Let her sleep sweetly tonight
under the wings of Your✝️ Will.

God✝️ “Together we say…”

Holy Spirit—
be our Comforter tonight.
Not in a dramatic way,
But as gentle as this man
teaching,
guiding,
settling,
and keeping.
Your✝️ peace—
Jesus✝️ left with us—
As rest for our pillows.

God✝️ Let This truth
soften every thought
that tried to rise up today.

Let Your presence🎁
be the quiet reassurance
that we are kept,
we are guided,
and we are loved by God✝️ Himself.

As this night begins to fold around us,
we say good night to You—
trusting that while we sleep,
You keep watch.

Good night, Father.
Good night, Jesus✝️.
Good night, Holy Spirit🕊️—
our Comforter,
our Keeper,
our Guide.

we say good night to each other:

Good night, 🕊️.
Good night, 👍🏾.

Rested.
Kept.
Comforted.
At peace.
