“ A Relationship With God”
(Conversations of manywith our Heavenly Father)
Father in Heaven,
I come to You the way I always do —
steady, intentional,
with thoughts that run deeper than what I show,
and a heart that knows the only safe place
to rest its weight
is You.
Because Lord…
a true relationship with God✝️
isn’t emotional hype,
it’s alignment.
It’s order.
It’s clarity.
It’s the standard
for how we treat people,
how we communicate,
how we show mercy,
how we keep peace
even when the day didn’t.
It’s the blueprint
for every conversation,
every boundary,
every bond You allow us to build.
And Father —
You know this:
a life that’s anchored in You
cannot help but produce peace.
Not forced peace.
Not pretend peace.
But that quiet, effortless,
“God is here so I’m okay” kind of peace
that settles the soul
and resets the mind.
That’s why, Lord,
when You’re close,
smiles come easier.
Even in the complicated moments,
even in the in-betweens,
You give reasons to rejoice
that no circumstance can cancel.
You’re the God who can make a lifegiver
giggle like a schoolgirl
just by brushing joy across her heart.
And that’s how I know
You’re in the details
of everything we’re becoming.
Because a true relationship with God✝️
doesn’t disappear under pressure —
it deepens.
It doesn’t break under conflict —
it clarifies.
It doesn’t run —
it remains.
You’re the God
who stays present
in every silence,
every question,
every moment joy feels delayed
or tears come too quick.
You’re the God
who wipes tears
before the tear knows it’s falling.
And Father, as Your child…
I’m asking:
keep this relationship strong.
Keep the communication clean.
Keep the path steady.
Keep my discipline sharp.
Keep her covered.
Keep me grounded.
Keep us both aligned
in truth
and in peace.
In Jesus Christ✝️ name,
Amen.

Good Night, 🕊️ — (Rewritten in the Same Tone)
And now, Lord…
as night settles in
and this day folds itself away,
wrap her in peace —
Your peace —
the kind that doesn’t ask questions,
doesn’t explain itself,
doesn’t waver.
Let Psalm 4:8 quiet her spirit:
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep…”
Let Proverbs 3:24 guard her rest:
“Her sleep shall be sweet.”
Good night, 🕊️ —
rest knowing God is near,
rest knowing You’re kept,
rest knowing there’s nothing to prove
and nothing to fear.
Just peace.
Just stillness.
Just God✝️.
Amen.
