🙏🏾 “So Much to Say”

(A Spoken-Word Prayer with Psalms as the Voice of the Title)

Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name,
that as Your 🕊️ Holy Spirit dwells among us this day,
May your Psalms✝️ speak for us
More specifically expressed for me
My thought process
Because my words feel too small,
too few,
Yet full.

Because Lord…
sometimes we have so much to say,
But risk sounding like a fool
but like David, may we be reminded
our hearts overflow with a good matter
(Psalm 45:1),
and the words come out like poetry
instead of paragraphs when the heart is right

So today, as we walk in the light
let our thoughts rise like Psalm 19—
“the meditation of our hearts”
lifting upward
as naturally as breath.

Let our honesty sound like Psalm 62—
pouring out our hearts before You✝️
without fear,
without filter,
without holding back
what You✝️ already know🕊️

And Father…
let that picture of “the two little birds”
be its own psalm —
a soft, feathered prayer
about kindness,
comfort, sacrifice,
and quiet communication.

They sit between a trembling leaf
as rain writes its own rhythm around them,
and somehow,
their silence says everything.
Just like the Psalms,
sometimes the shelter speaks louder
than the sentence.

So much to say,
and yet…
You teach us through Psalm 46,
“Be still, and know…”
Yet some messages
don’t require volume —
just presence

So much to say,
and Psalm 23 answers for us:
In leadership
Restora,
Comfort, as you cover.
And we stay standing under
Even without long speeches,
Your goodness speaks first.

Like a picture and a 1000 words

So much to say,
and Psalm 91 whispers back:
“He shall cover thee with His feathers.”
Just like those birds —
leaning in,
sharing shelter,
weathering the storm
beneath one small grace
held between them.

Father, as we stand before You,
translate every unspoken thought,
every gentle hope,
every quiet emotion.
Make the Psalms our language
when our own tongue feels unsteady.
Yet, may your grace keep us ready
To live life each day
one step at a time

Father……
This day
Turn our hearts into lyric,
our thoughts into worship,
our silence into trust.

And when we cannot say it all,
let the Psalms say it for us —
faithfully,
beautifully,
and always
toward You.

In Jesus Christ✝️ name,
I pray, and give 🕊️ thanks
In gratitude✝️.
Amen.
