🙏🏾 “Hand in Hand: A Prayer of Comfort”
(Isaiah 42:6 ✝️ | Psalm 23 ✝️ | Proverbs 3:24 ✝️)

Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name,
As Your 🕊️ Holy Spirit draws us close
softly, gently, the way a hand is held
May such comfort become 👍🏾our🕊️ language🫱🏿‍🫲🏾.

Lord✝️, in Isaiah 42:6,
You mentioned that you will hold our hand.
So as we rest with Your✝️ Word we 🫱🏿‍🫲🏾 share that promise✝️
As You✝️ hold us steady
when the world feels unsteady,
Your grip becomes our grounding,
Your presence our peace.

And just like two hands finding each other
in a quiet moment of trust,
You lead us beside still waters
With Psalm 23 declaring.
Restoration to our soul,
steady our steps,
and whispers of
“Fear no evil…
I am with thee.”

So Lord, let our handholding
be more than a touch
let it be truth.
In knowing that our presence🎁
Means so much
Saying:
“I’m here,”
“I’m safe,”
“I’m staying,”
ready to obey
without needing many words.

Let it carry the warmth of friendship,
the strength of partnership,
Among any endeavor to keep unity
With gentleness of understanding,
and the comfort of being seen.

Father, calm our minds that race,
quiet the hearts that ache,
and heal the places we never say aloud.
With our responding sighs of relief like
“Yaasss!…….Lord thank you for seeing me!”

Because You✝️ are the One
binding hearts hand-in-hand,
With peace flowing like melodies
and comfort as a rhythm.

And when the night comes,
and the mind starts wandering,
and the soul feels tired—
bring us back to Proverbs 3:24:
“When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid…
yea, thou shalt lie down,
and thy sleep shall be sweet.”

So Father, let our hands rest in Yours✝️,
and let our thoughts rest in You✝️.
So the next day we stand
Ready to give our best in You✝️.

And as we meditate on Your✝️ Word
🫱🏿‍🫲🏾given us
Let holding hands feel like
still waters for the soul,
green pastures for the mind,
and a shield for the heart.

Bind 🕊️us👍🏾 together
in a way that honors You✝️—
not rushed, not forced,
but guided, guarded,
graced by Your Spirit.

Let every moment we share
reflect a period of
Your steady kindness.
Make every step we take
a walk in Your peace.
As we hold 🫱🏿‍🫲🏾 hands
And let every night we sleep
end in Your comfort.
