🙏🏾 Finding the Good
(Luke 4:18 ✝️ | Psalm 37:3-6 KJV)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name,
that as Your 🕊️ Holy Spirit moves tonight among us,
help us understand that finding the good
begins with trusting in the Lord and doing good.
You said, “So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.”
And Lord✝️, You have never failed to feed us—
with hope, with grace, with Your Word that gives life.

You taught us to delight ourselves in You✝️,
and You would give us the desires of our heart.
But tonight, Lord, I realize—
when I take care of what’s precious to You✝️,
You take care of what’s precious to me.
That’s how heaven balances the heart.

So, Father, help us to find the good even in times of hurt.
When pain comes like wind through an open door,
teach me not to close it too fast—
for sometimes the hurt reveals where healing belongs.
Help me see need not as a burden,
but as an invitation—
a chance to show up,
because someone out there still needs what You’ve placed in us.

Lord Jesus✝️
You said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor;
He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
Lord✝️, let that same Spirit 🕊️ rest on 🕊️ us👍🏾
to comfort, to heal, to free, to Love✝️.

When we see hurt, remind us we carry Your healing.
When we see need, remind us we have Your resources.
When we see interest, help us speak Your truth with gentleness and care.
Because showing up for others is how we honor You✝️.

Lord✝️, as I commit my way unto You and trust You to bring it to pass,
make my light shine in the dark corners of someone else’s life.
Let my steps be ordered toward those who need comfort,
and let their steps be drawn closer to You✝️.

So tonight, as I find the good, teach me to keep my heart open—
to hold what’s precious to You✝️ with care,
and to trust that in Your perfect time,
You’ll take care of what’s precious to us.

Because when we trust in You✝️, we find peace.
When we rest in You✝️, we find strength.
And when we show up in Your name,
we find the good that was there all along.
