I have been affected by the government shutdown. I have devoted my life in the service of this country. I did 13yrs in the United States Marine Corps and a little bit of reserve time then went on to DoD contracting and ironically went into the federal government for stability. I tried to get a load through USAA because that is where the majority of my money goes to and got denied. At the beginning of the year, I took in my niece and her 13yr old son. And now I can’t pay my bills and worried about rent! I am at a total loss here. I am not sure what to do or where to even go for assistance! Please keep me and my family and all of my colleagues in your prayers!
