What a privilege to know God plans in advance of our need! And that he cares about the details.

I saw this manifest in a very specific way at my workplace recently where someone with whom we were under contract suddenly abandoned the project they were to do; this could have really left us in the lurch but a short while before someone who didn’t work in the industry had recommended a contractor to me; that contractor amazingly was able to step in immediately.

I’ve seen this multiple times in my life (e.g., I “just so happened” to have a Christian friend recommend a mechanic and put contact in my phone when suddenly a few days later my car breaks down), the mechanic was available and able to fix)

Some chalk these things up to coincidence but Jesus says that our very hairs are numbered and that not even a tiny bird’s flight path falls outside his Father’s providence.
