I had a big conviction two years ago about “ celebrating Halloween” my husband doesn’t see it as something bad- it’s a family fun day. But as I look at my three sweet kids I want to keep them away from all things evil and I don’t want to participate in this day. The Bible also says wives should obey their husbands. So I struggle very hard with this day and pray non stop on this day. My heart hurts and I want to stand for God and don’t feel like I need to justify or make an excuse to celebrate this. I pray he opens his eyes to seeing we are standing up for God not the worldly ways:-/
