Father in Heaven,

As your Holy Spirit dwells, and I lie down may there be no fear.
As your peace rest upon us, I fold the day, set it on the nightstand.
Keys. phone. worries—off.
Windows breathe. Night hums low.

Angels at the threshold, wisdom at the gate.
No chase in my chest, no thunder in my head.
Pillow receives what the Lord has steadied.
Darkness is not danger; it’s a curtain drawn.

I exhale the noise.
I inhale the ✝️Name.
Peace takes the last watch.
Silence keeps time.
My dreams entertain.

As I lie down, my sleep is sweet—
The sugar rush from it energizes me for the new day, as I await the Giver of rest which is near. No fear! Thank you Lord✝️!
