🙏🏾Heavenly Father,

As your 🕊️Holy Spirit dwells among us, let the word of Christ dwell in us richly—teach and admonish us with wisdom, and set psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in our mouths, singing with grace in our hearts to You. And whatever we do in word or deed, let us do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to You, our Father.

Reassure us: faith in who You are brings the confidence we need to live this life. Help us to walk by faith and not by sight—to fear neither the arrow by day nor the terror by night. Strengthen us to fight the good fight of faith, to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Grant us a single-eye focus so our whole bodies are full of light; keep us from double-minded darkness.

Guard our hearts. Teach us to trust in You, for Your words are true and they save our lives. Let us not only talk faith but live it—examples to the world—so Your ways move through the earth in the fullness of love. Use us to reconcile the next man, woman, or child who crosses our path. Call the wandering to come as they are to the One who sits at Your right hand, and keep us watchful in this day You have made.

Root us and build us up in Christ; establish us in the faith as we’ve been taught, and make us abound in thanksgiving. And in all things—our speaking, our doing—be glorified.
