Lord God,

We bring Joey before You—
Not as perfect, but as possible.
Not as lost, but as reachable.
Not as broken, but as beloved.

Touch his heart, Lord.
Soften what’s hardened.
Heal what’s wounded.
Restore what’s been stolen by lies, by fear, by rebellion.

Let his health be protected,
His mind be cleared,
His body be strengthened,
His future be redeemed.

Scripture:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” — Psalm 37:23
“My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him.” — Hebrews 12:5

Give him guidance, Lord—
Not from the crowd, but from Your Word.
Give him strength—
Not to fight truth, but to walk in it.
Give him wisdom—
To know what’s right, even when it’s hard.
Give him courage—
To face the consequences and choose better.

Let him learn truth.
Let him receive love.
Let him show compassion.
Let him accept discipline—not as punishment, but as protection.

Teach his mother and father, Lord—
How to discipline with grace,
How to correct with consistency,
How to love without enabling,
How to lead without fear.

Let them walk in unity,
Not confusion.
Let them speak with clarity,
Not contradiction.

And for those You’ve placed in Joey’s life—
Let us be help, not harm.
Let us be light, not noise.
Let us act not from what we believe,
But from what You see needs to be done.

Let us not speak over You.
Let us not move ahead of You.
Let us be vessels—
Empty of pride, full of purpose.

In Jesus Christ we pray to our God,
Who sees the heart,
Who heals the broken,
Who disciplines with love,
And who restores what the enemy tried to destroy.

Amen.
