Prayers for Blaise: Good morning, all. I know that we are a family of people who pray and I bring a prayer request to you all this morning. A few weeks ago, Blaise's back was hurting. The doctors did not do much, thinking it was a pulled muscle. Last Sunday, the ER basically refused to treat him. Yesterday, he got into a neurologist who did an emergency MRI. A mass was found on his T10 vertebrae, pushing spine off center. Right now, he is in surgery for laminectomy and biopsy. Doctors are calling the mass a tumor. Surgery should take an hour, recovery a few hours, and biopsy results a few days. Blaise is my stepfather, so I lift him and my mom, Patti, up in prayer. Putting their health, physically and emotionally, on the hands of God. I pray for healing, comfort, and that they grow closer to God.
