Father God, I come to you in prayer for my relationship with my boyfriend of a year and a half. We have been going through a lot of ups and downs over the last several months. We do love each other as Christ loves us. We both say we want the same thing. However, I know that there are some things in his life that are keeping him from being able to move forward with me. I place your will for us as individuals and as a couple in your hands. I pray for your will to be done with regards to our relationship. If my boyfriend is your preordained choice for my husband, please show him the way forward. Remove any and all obstacles that will keep him from becoming my husband. If he is not your preordained choice for my husband, please remove him from my life. If I am meant to have someone else as my husband, help me heal so when he comes into my life, I am prepared. If I am not meant to be married, please keep me from becoming bitter over not being married. I surrender my need to run my relationship with my boyfriend to you fully. Let your will be done. Amen.
