Heavenly Father,
We lift up John and his sister-in-law into Your loving care. You see the tensions that rise when hearts are misunderstood and choices are judged too quickly. Lord, calm the storm that judgment has stirred and replace it with Your divine peace.

Grant John a spirit of discernment, not condemnation, that he may reflect the grace You give so freely. May he remember that Your mercy triumphs over judgment, and that love covers a multitude of faults.

Restore trust within their family, and guide his sister-in-law with clarity as she navigates important decisions. Let them seek You above all, for “if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally…” — James 1:5 (KJV)

We ask that this family be knit together with cords of compassion, bound by Your love and led by Your truth. In every misunderstanding, let Your light shine brighter. In every moment of doubt, let Your Word be the compass.
