A Prayer for Boundaries, Peace, and Spiritual Protection in the Home

O Lord, Thou art our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We come before Thee, asking for Thy divine guidance and peace within our home.

Thou hast said, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14). And again, “From such turn away” (2 Timothy 3:5), for we are called to walk in the light, not in confusion.

Lord, we lift up Christine. Though she wavers in belief and brings unrest, we ask Thee to touch her heart. “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief” (Mark 9:24). Let Thy Spirit stir within her a hunger for truth and a desire to dwell in peace.

But if she chooses not to walk with Thee, give us the strength to set holy boundaries. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). Let our home be a sanctuary where Thy name is honored, where Thy Word is read, and where Thy peace reigns.

We are not perfect, Lord, but we are Thine. Let our home be a place where “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). Give us wisdom to love without enabling, to forgive without compromising truth, and to stand firm in Thee.
