Heavenly Father,

Thou knowest the burdens that rest upon Kelsey's shoulders—the trials of the mind and the weight of financial hardship that led to her absence. But Lord, we come before Thee trusting in Thy mercy and the promise of restoration. Thy Word declares, "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Draw near to her now, and grant her peace that passeth understanding.

We ask for grace in the eyes of her professor, that her appeal would be received with compassion and understanding. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him" (James 1:5). May her professor be granted wisdom to see her sincere desire to continue learning and to grant her another chance.

Lord, let this trial become a testimony. For it is written, "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…" (Joel 2:25). Restore her academic standing, renew her strength, and guide her steps from this moment forward.
