Heavenly Father,

We lift up this precious heart weighed down by fear and anxiety. In the quiet moments of this week off, their mind wrestles with worry, and their spirit feels faint. But Lord, Thou art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head (Psalm 3:3). We ask You now to steady their heart, to bring peace where there is chaos, and to remind them that You go before them—even into workplaces and meetings.

As the day of supervision draws near, let Your favor rest mightily upon them. Grant them clarity of thought, strength of skill, and confidence born not from pride, but from knowing they are never alone. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Help them release what is beyond their control. Teach them to Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). Replace their dread with boldness, their nausea with hope, and their self-doubt with the truth that I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).

Father, they carry the weight of responsibility for their family, their future, and their integrity. Honor their diligence and their desire not to disappoint those they love. Let this visit from supervision not be a stumbling block, but a stepping stone to new growth, favor, and stability.

And above all, saturate their atmosphere with Your peace. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).

In Jesus' mighty and compassionate name we pray,

Amen.
