A Prayer for Strength Amidst Judgment and Deception

Lord God,
You know the full weight of my heart—the disappointments, the confusion, and the wounds I carry from words that should never have been spoken. I lift it all to You now.

Father, I ask You to protect my family and my home from every spirit of deceit and division. Let Your truth be the final word. Let every scheme, every half-truth, every hurtful intention that’s been allowed to linger be revealed for what it is—and fall powerless at Your feet.

And Lord, I bring before You the pain caused by words meant to diminish—especially those that cut at the dignity of people with disabilities. You made each of us in Your image, fearfully and wonderfully, with purpose and beauty. I reject every lie that says otherwise.
Help me to walk proudly in how You’ve created me, dyslexia and all. You’ve given me insight, compassion, resilience—and no one can take that from me.

I pray, too, for the hearts of those who speak from ignorance or bias. Heal what is broken in them. Transform judgment into understanding. Let no bitterness take root in me from their words—but let holy strength rise up instead.

Be my shield, Lord, when I feel vulnerable. Be the voice of truth when others try to label me. And let my life be proof that Your grace is more powerful than any opinion, any lie, or any limitation.
