Prayer Request

Heavenly Father,

In moments when we are called to act with strength, grant us courage not born from anger, but rooted in Your presence—just as You promised in Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you.” Let us never take up might without first seeking Your guiding hand.

Where wisdom is needed, pour it over us like living water. As James writes, Your wisdom is peace-loving, considerate, and full of mercy. May the decisions we’ve made—even those marked by conflict—be tempered with this divine insight.

Lord, we look ahead now—not backward—to the healing only You can bring. We long for the day You spoke of in Isaiah 2:4, where swords become plowshares and the sound of war is silenced. Help us to be instruments in that transformation, to rebuild what’s broken, and to cultivate peace even in the ashes.

And if it is possible, Father, as far as it depends on us, let us live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). Inspire us to listen, to reconcile, and to lay down arms—literal or emotional—for the sake of love.

In Your mercy and grace, lead us forward. Through Christ our Lord we pray,

Amen.
