Lord, we come to You with heavy hearts and troubled minds. We’ve lost someone dear, and whose passing has left behind pain and questions we cannot answer. God, for the husband who mourns, for the friends who ache, and for every soul wrestling with "Why"—bring peace that surpasses understanding.
Be near to those who grieve, and let them feel Your presence even when hope feels distant. Remind them that they are not alone, that You see their pain, and that You hold their tears in Your hands. Comfort them with the truth that love does not end with death, and that Your mercy is wider than our sorrow.
Even when we cannot make sense of this, we choose to trust in Your love. Guide us, heal us, and lead us toward a peace that only You can give. Amen.
