Lord, I'm starting a 4,300-mile bike ride from Maine to Washington to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, particularly for children in foster care. As I raise funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, please bless this ride and keep me safe. Help me to always share my story of overcoming depression in a way that brings you the glory. Give me an open heart to all who I meet on this journey and the words to offer comfort and hope. Let me never forget, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Phil. 4:13).
