December 26, I asked for prayers for my father who had been re-hospitalized with an infection. He survived! He's currently in a subacute nursing facility receiving 24/7 IV antibiotics for the next few weeks. He's not quite out of the woods yet, but his prognosis is good. He's scheduled for ambulatory surgery – that is intended to treat the root cause of the recurring infection – on January 28. I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers so far and of course praise God for having answered them!
