I have been getting my words out for two years. Most people die of frontotemporal dementia in less than two years. I could live 7-13 years or longer. I sometimes type with missing words. I read great books & I listen to excellent podcasts. I could loose my words & my memory, just like Alzheimer’s disease. My mom’s sister died of Alzheimer’s. I will be (maybe) in a facility!! I have an appointment for a PET scan Oct. 24. I’m seeing Dr. Pauldurai on Nov. 2 at Fairfax County Government Center. I have genetic testing scheduled on Dec. 5. I’m seeing Dr. Pauldurai (neurologist) Dec. 12.
