My ex and I have been talking recently for the past 3 days. This whole time I thought he lied and cheated but I got ahead of myself and painted him out to be the villain. He told me he didn’t cheat on me and didn’t talk to Simone months after we broke up and that he still loves me. He vocalized that he would like to get back together and work things out and know that it would be a lot of work to gain me and my family’s trust back. I spoke to my mom and she said it is my decision to make but she doesn’t feel too sure about it. A few days ago, I asked the Lord to bring into my life the people I need to be with rather it was romantically or not, and my ex came back. He was never a bad person he treated me so well. He even said the time he got closer to God was when we were together. My prayer to God has been if he is the one, he makes his intentions very clear (which he has) but I also need to feel peace before deciding to start things again with my ex or move on.
