Dear Lord, lift up my spouse and myself. Therefore, heal any brokenness and damage between us, as no one else can. I pray for your spiritual covering over our relationship. Bless us with Your spiritual hedge of protection around us.
Instill within us that loving peace, love, and harmony towards each other, that only you can give. May we grow together in faith, trusting you oh Lord. We ask of You today to show us how to live and love in truth. Remind us to be honest and yet gentle during confrontations and discussions. Help us to be kind to each other, never lacking in compassion. Remind us that you are the center of our relationship and that you are the one who watches over our future. May we look to you for wisdom and guidance. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Help us to be real about who we are and expect our loved one to do the same. Guide us to explore the topics we need to explore with transparency and openness. May we be enriched through this process and grow deeper in intimate understanding of each other. We pray that our love would be good-willed and always humble before each other.
