My husband of 39 years left me in October, and my heart is broken. He is constantly in battle with alcoholism and is also bipolar. He has has had stretches of sobriety in the past, one time for nine years, but that was more than a decade ago. He has been drinking off and on for the last few years. There is no other person involved – he has left me for alcohol and the other selfish things that go along with it. He has gone to another state to work and lost his job in just a few weeks, plus the RV he is living in (and using for a vehicle) has broken down. I’m afraid if something doesn’t happen he might be homeless. Despite everything, I love him and want him to be safe and I want him to get help. He has gone to rehab three times, each time longer than the last, but never longer than three months. Please pray for him to be safe and get the help he needs. As a sober person he is loving and caring and is a Godly man.
