Please pray for guidance, clarity and direction for me. I’m getting ready to retire from a career in law enforcement and I’m looking for a new career. I’m considering going into teaching in the public schools. I have experience as a teacher and it’s not something that I thought I would ever consider again, but for some reason it’s been on my mind. I have a passion for teaching, but teaching kids is such a challenge with everything going on during these times, so I’m struggling with whether this is something God has placed on my heart or if it’s just a convenient career path. I want to be in God’s will, and I want to be a blessing to the children, and not just go into a job only to leave after a year and I discover it’s not right for me.
